How to seal the window between the bathroom and the kitchen
After moving to the one-room "Khrushchev", which did not make repairs from the time of construction, we firmly decided to get rid of a completely unnecessary window in the wall, located between the kitchen and bathroom. This window spoiled the entire interior of the kitchen, and did not perform any functions necessary for us. Next, we will explain how to close the window between the bathroom and the kitchen in the home.
First we set the glass.
Then broke the trim with the help of available tools.
Rama knocked out with an ordinary hammer.
To our surprise, the walls in the bathroom turned out to be concrete, although the brick house and the rest of the internal partitions in the apartment were also made of brick.
When the window opening was released, it was decided to lay it with bricks.
The upper part of the masonry was made of pieces of brick. You can see the result in the photo above (the photo of the brickwork was taken from the bathroom).
Then the brickwork was lined with plaster. It remains to stick the wallpaper, and we got a completely flat and beautiful wall in the kitchen.
It is possible that our illustrative photos will help you.
This is not the only way to seal the window, for these purposes you can use another board or drywall.
