What can affect the durability of the water heater?

In enamel tanks put large protective anodes, they will neutralize the active components of iron. The only requirement is a regular replacement of the protective anode.

As for stainless storage water heaters, they are supplied with small protective anodes. Consequently, when using ferrous water, the anode does not cope with the load, and iron is deposited on the surface of the tank and on the heaters. As a result, it is necessary to change the tenu and anode at the same time.

There is another nuance that affects the durability of the water heater - it is the operation of the water heater. Improper operation of the device in the winter season leads to the fact that the water tank freezes, resulting in the bursting of the heating elements and protective anodes. The joints begin to flow, as a rule, this leads to premature utilization of the water heater.

Accumulative water heaters are made with one and two fuel heaters of different capacities - 1.5 and 2.5 kW. A heater with two heating elements is installed in places where consumption of large electrical power is foreseen.

Mounting fasteners

A tee is screwed onto the treated pipe and an emergency drain valve, a relief valve and a shut-off valve are mounted in each hole. At the end of the installation of valves and valve on the tee install a threaded adapter and connect to the apartment plumbing.
