Hand drilling wells
Now there are many different technologies that greatly facilitate the life of man, and ... his wallet. But, for the reason that the wallet is not heavy anyway, then such a topic as well drilling itself interests many people. In this article we will see what it is and how it is possible to perform such work without a team of specialists.
We will not consider what the well is needed for, because only those people who have a problem with water supply are interested in this issue. So, you are faced with a choice, and do not know which of the many proposed drilling methods to choose.
Pluses of hydroburning
One of the advantages of this method is that water drilling with a small-sized installation can be carried out in a landscaped area, without fear that after the work is completed the site will be similar to the battlefield after the bombing.
Let's start with the fact that for drilling a well a small-sized drilling rig is needed that will not spoil the backyard plot and is best suited for working with sandy, clay or loamy soil.
As for the drilling technology, there are also advantages over other types of drilling. Here they are:
- Relative cheapness.
- The speed of work.
- During drilling, the wellbore is strengthened.
- Ability to do the work yourself.
- MBU is a small and compact design.
- The installation can be transferred to the place of drilling on the hands and assembled in just 15-20 minutes.
If the soil is stony, the method of hydroburning is unacceptable, since the principle of the installation is based on leaching the soil from the well. In this case, all the eroded particles rise to the surface along with circulating water.
Technology
Well drilling with a small-sized drilling rig (MBU) is one of the simplest and very common methods. This method differs from the others in that it uses the energy of a liquid that flows with great pressure, but since it is necessary to break not only the soil, but also hard rocks, quartz sand and even steel shot can be added to the liquid. In some cases, the aid connects cone or chisel bits.
If you purchase this equipment, then note that the motor pump is not included in the kit, and it must be purchased separately. When choosing this unit, take into account the characteristics - the power of the motor-pump must meet the requirements specified in the description of the drilling rig.
Workplace device
Since the drilling fluid is not absorbed by the soil, but rises along with the rock to the top, it is necessary to provide conditions for its storage by making some preparations. It is necessary not far from the drilling site to dig 2 pit, 1 × 1 × 1 m in size each. Water will flow into the first pit, taking all the solid particles with it to the bottom, and then it will be poured into the second, and from where it will be pumped into the drilling rig. Such a circulation of water will not only help save on its consumption, but also will not allow the mud to spread over the site. In addition, this fluid cools the drilling tool, and grinds the borehole walls, strengthening them. Also, the technical solution prevents water release from pressure reservoirs, because the fluid in the well is under pressure.
We are starting to drill
Before starting work, you need to make some preparations:
- Assemble and install the drilling rig near the drilling site.
- Fill the pit with drilling mud.
- Hose the outlet of the motor pump with the swivel.
- Lower the suction hose to the last pit (not to the bottom).
- Providing water can be drilled.
Start the rig and turn on the motor pump immediately. After the drill rod has sunk to its full length, increase the drill string, attaching the next rod to it. The drill string needs to be extended with drill rods until the drill reaches its target, the aquifer. When this happens, the drilling fluid will stop rising to the top under pressure, and the water level in the pit will begin to decline.
Dismantling equipment
After cheers, there is some relaxation and reduced vigilance, since the Internet is full of questions about how to get a drill from a well, and the reality is that it may be cheaper to buy a new drill than to get an old one. Therefore, when pulling a drill after passing it to the aquifer, you need to fix the remaining part of the equipment in the well with a special clamp, as it can roll in the pipe wrench, which holds it so as not to twist, and collapse. If there is no clamp, then take a strong cable, and each time be safe when unscrewing the upper piece of the drill, making a loop on it, tie the second edge to the tree. If there are no trees nearby, then take a strong log and fasten a cable on it in the middle. Only when everything is ready you can enjoy. Now you need to wash the well with clean water and shake.
