An excellent method of restoring a wooden floor is scraping. But scraping a wooden floor with your own hands is a time-consuming work process that requires skill. 4. For scraping art parquet, it is necessary to attract only highly qualified specialists. Since many parts are made of valuable wood species that are easily damaged.

Regarding the sequence of scraping, the whole process takes place in the following order:

• All the furniture is taken out of the room, the baseboards are being dismantled.
• The floor is swept up with a dry broom and vacuumed with a household vacuum cleaner.
• The sanding paper P36-P40 is filled into the drum of the grinding machine. She needs to go through the whole area twice. It is recommended to begin work from the far wall and end up with the place where they most often go. All formed dust should be removed.
• If after this small spots of old lacquer remain on the surface, use the angle grinder from the edges to the center. This unit polishes every corner and niche available. In this case, the direction should be from the boundaries of the ground surface to the wall.
• When the time comes to finish grinding, take a surface grinder.
• Knead with wood dust. It must be evenly distributed throughout the floor with a special trowel.

Note! If to putty only potholes and cracks, then after varnishing ugly spots may appear.

• After the plaster has completely dried, the entire floor is smoothed with P80-P90 sandpaper.
• Now it's time to varnish the parquet. When the varnish is completely dry, the raised nap is eliminated using the P100-P120 skin.
• The lacquering process is carried out in two rounds.

If in the near future it is not planned to make repairs, then the floor cycled by this method will serve twice as much as usual.

Note! Microfibre roller can be used for varnishing. The result is a high-quality multi-layer varnishing. The main disadvantage is its high price, especially since it is used only once.

Manual scraping

For manual scraping will require a cycle. To do this, use an iron plane, the blade of which is crooked. First, the piece of iron is released. To this end, it is heated to a dark cherry color. It should cool in the air. Then, it is clamped in a vice with the pipe and along it, as if in a pattern, with a light blow of the hammer is bent. Now the blade is directed exactly to the emery bar or hardened on the circle. After heating, the workpiece should be cooled in water.
