• the surface layer is wiped out quickly enough - it follows that such a coating can only be used with additional protective coatings;
• combustible material - with a small access of air dry fiberboard will smolder for hours;
• Over time, it begins to copy the surface on which it is mounted - it can take bends.

Preparatory operations

2. Old plinth dismantled. Peeling paint from the floor must be removed. Garbage is removed.
3. The gaps between the boards and the wall are filled with mounting foam. After solidification, the excess protruding parts are cut flush - flush with the surface of the boards.
4. Possible gaps between the boards are sealed with a putty designed to work with a movable base.
