We build a wooden fence
Types of suburban fences are very numerous. The most common materials for the construction of suburban fences is wood and professional sheet. Speaking of professional sheets, it should be noted that this material is durable, quickly built, not particularly demanding to care during operation, but somewhat more expensive than wood in cost. A fence made of corrugated wood is an excellent option, although a fence made of natural wood in the country will look much more harmonious and natural.
A wooden fence in the country is not only an inexpensive way to protect your property, but also a symbol of environmental friendliness and unity with nature, because many people buy country houses just to take a break from the city rush, and therefore seek to use the maximum of natural materials here. In addition, the tree is very flexible in work, and therefore invites you to show your designer imagination in all its glory.

What building materials to use
Naturally, if we decided to build a wooden fence to give, then such a structure should be wooden. But these days the combination of materials is very popular. For example, a modern wooden fence may have metal poles and a concrete base. Such a move allows you to create stronger and more durable structures.
In addition, it often turns out that several thick pipes are lying idle in the shed, and this can also be a weighty argument in favor of metal pillars.
In general, almost any material can be used as pillars, namely:
- Tree.
- Metal pipes.
- Brick (pictured below).
- Reinforced concrete.
In other words, in this case, you can use any material that you have available.

So, having decided on the materials, you can proceed directly to the construction of the fence.
In our case, a metal pipe with a diameter of 76 mm. And in order to attach the wooden slats to the metal base, the surface of the pipes should be prepared.
- To do this, use the corners, which are welded to the metal supports in two places, closer to the top of the pipe and at the intended base of the fence. Do not forget to take into account that about a meter of support will be dug into the ground.
- In the corners, make holes with a drill for fixing the veins.
- Pick up strong veins (50x150 mm). You will attach them to the corners already when assembling the fence.

Use of a front profile as veined.
In order to avoid mistakes during the installation process, there is a simple instruction:
- One of the main stages of installing a wooden fence is to determine the distance between the supports. Usually it is 2-2.5 meters. In order to save, you can increase the pitch between the pillars up to 3 meters, but in this case, the pillars must be installed very firmly in order to withstand the load.
Tip! The higher the fence, the correspondingly, the distance between the supports should be smaller.
- Outlining the installation point of the pillars, you must dig holes. To dig in such supports should be about a meter deep, but at the same time the composition of the soil and the depth of soil freezing should also be taken into account.
- Insert the pillar into the pit. Free space you can zabutovat gravel, rubble or fragments of bricks. You can also fill the pit with sand, which after that should be well shed. But all these methods are suitable only for lightweight structures.
In our case, we build a solid fence of boards, and such a structure will have considerable weight, so the space around the supports should be well concreted.
- Attach to the pillars pre-prepared streaks.
- Next, fasten the board to the veins. It is preferable to overlap the boards, but if you wish, you can provide a small distance between them.

Tip! Before attaching the boards, they must be treated with a protective compound that will protect them from moisture and pests.
- When the boards are fixed, the fence must be painted. For this, a primer can be used. You can also dilute the paint with white spirit to obtain a primer. The second layer is applied undiluted paint.
Painting a wooden fence - the procedure is quite time-consuming, because the paint is quickly absorbed, and the layer must be applied on a new one. Country fences made of wood can be painted with a special pistol, which will greatly save your time.
