But, as they say - the fence is from honest people, so in this material we will not consider heavy, stationary constructions, but we’ll dwell on simpler, simpler and more elegant things. Considering the issue of braids, I would like to immediately notice that at present there are several types of such fences. Namely:

Note! The type of material will not be of particular importance if you are constructing a decorative, low fence, for example, for fencing a recreation area from a vegetable garden or a garden. In this case, the aesthetic component comes to the first place and only then the lifetime of the homemade product.

But nonetheless:

1. Ready-made vines. Willow and hazel are quite suitable for weaving. At the same time, the rods themselves should be up to 2 cm in diameter, if you want to create a small decorative fence, for internal fencing or creating a small architectural form in the landscape design of the site, or up to 3 cm, for a stationary fence in the folk style.

Preparation of material occurs in the spring and fall. The rods are selected straight, without branches and diseases. After collecting the vine it must be well dried. Directly drying is possible on special racks under a shed or in a dryer, but this process costs money and these expenses are not always justified. And most importantly, when applying this material, do not forget to remove the bark from the twigs.

1. Separately about the support. Although the fence braid and is considered temporary, but the simplicity of its installation, the possibility of replacing the components and the absolute efficiency in the construction and operation can be so like the owners that they want only such a fence.

In this case, it makes sense to move from wooden stakes to metal pins and pipes of small diameter.

Of course, you can leave and wooden supports, but here it is necessary to provide two points:

• The first - The tree is rotting, so all the columns need what is called an antiseptic;
• Second - the lower layer of the rods will contact with the ground, so in this case the creation of a primitive drainage system, in the form of a moat with sand, is optimal for better absorption of moisture. The recommended moat depth is 50 cm.

The following method of installation of supports is allowed and welcome: at the place of installation of the pole, an earthen hole is drilled to a third of the height of the pole, metal supports (corners or metal strips with mounting holes) are inserted into it, and the contents of the pit are filled with concrete; with fasteners. The wooden beam will simply be installed on this support, and fixed with screws to metal parts. Such supports will last much longer.

1. Step by step. The important point is to determine the distance between the supports. In a classic presentation, a step is considered to be 50 cm. However, this is only a recommendation; you have to calculate this step yourself on the basis of the premise that one rod should overlap at least three supports.
2. Laying rods. Everything is very simple here, when you install the fence wattle with your own hands, try to tamp the vine as closely as possible to each other, here you can come in handy kiyanka. If the vine is rather thick and dry, then for better flexibility it is necessary to soak it in water for several hours, do not worry, the excess moisture after laying will quickly leave, but the curved shape will remain.

It is possible to connect the rods together in the following way: the two rods overlap and the surpluses are removed with an oblique slit, then the ends are aligned and secured with wire. Wire fastening can be avoided if the material is flexible enough and the connection of the cut rods is inconspicuous.

1. Coloring. Coloring can be made after the installation of the entire fence, which is called in unison. It is not necessary to use only paint; varnishes, stains, varnishes + stains combinations, potassium permanganate are allowed. The only condition for such work is the absence of bark on the details of the fence.

When you make wicker fences with your own hands, it is perfectly acceptable to use wood instead of a rod. This fence, of course, will have a more elegant and serious appearance, but the price of such a fence will be higher.

Wicker wooden fence requires:

• Support poles, wooden;
• Boards planed, edged;
• Screws or nails.

Although the phasing of the installation will be exactly the same as in the previous case, some differences are still observed:

• First of all, the step length is increased when installing the support pillars. It can be from 2 to 3 meters. These differences depend on the length of the board, and the main measure will be the opportunity to lead the edge of the board behind the support;
• Support should be only stationary, and, therefore, concreted, no pegs, just inserted into the ground, can not be;
• Each board must have a stopper on the pole, it is either a wooden beam or a metal corner, thus preventing the structure from slipping. The first board is installed at a distance of 10-15 cm from the ground.
• The entire structure is assembled from the starting point and can go both in the vertical plane and in the horizontal, for better retention of the fence fragments, the boards are fixed with nails or self-tapping screws;
• The space under the fence can be laid with a brick, or you can build up a concrete pillow, or ... and here you should think for yourself - a lot of options;
• Painting the product is carried out after all the work, the appearance, of course, this fence will be more interesting - that's like in the photo.

It looks like a tree, but not a tree for sure.

Woven from such material - a new word in the market of fences. He, of course, has a number of advantages over the tree and the vine, which did not fail to affect the price.

But this braid has its advantages, here they are:

• Slabs have different finished sizes and can have any appearance;
• They are used for placing on the first line of the fence, and for dissociating from neighbors;
