Door tinting

This is not such a difficult job, as it may seem at first glance. But just here you should do everything without haste.

Tool

• The first step is to prepare the knife and most importantly, it should be sharp;
• You will need a rubber spatula, preferably not very soft;
• Prepare a soap solution and a spray;
• Tint film.

Apply the film

This question can be divided into two stages: the preparation of the material and the direct installation. Throughout the process do not rush.

Do the work carefully:

• First of all, we choose a hard and flat surface and roll out a roll of film on it. We put on her glass and cut out the desired size. We do this so that there are no folds, afterwards it will not be so easy to level them. When cutting, you should increase the film by a few cm on each side;
• now the glass surface should be thoroughly cleaned from grease, dust and dirt. We do this by applying a soap solution to the surface and then we press the liquid with a rubber spatula. We carry out with a spatula several times, we should have a completely clean surface;
• Now apply a soap solution to a clean surface with a spray gun;
• Now we remove the protective layer from the film, it is called “Liner”. It is better to do this work together;

• We apply a soap solution on the adhesive layer of the film, and we neutralize it for a certain time. Then the film is simply much easier to attach and does not immediately stick to the surface, which allows it to be properly placed;
• Now we apply the film to the surface and immediately smooth it on the plane with the hand;

Note: The film should be smoothed as follows. First we draw a line in the middle and after that we begin to smooth out from the center and to the sides.

• Now the same should be done with a spatula. All water from under the film must be removed;
• After that, cut the edges with a sharp knife. After this, we pass around the edge of the cut again with a spatula and press the film finally.

Glass door installation

All work is done entirely by hand and this will reduce the cost of the entire structure. All work is done according to certain rules and in compliance with the principles, the most important thing is not to rush and do the correct markup.

Markup

With this, everything begins. You should take this issue with full responsibility.

Indeed, the incorrect performance of this work will lead to incorrect installation and the door will not fully perform its functions:

• we measure the door and for this we use a tape measure. to the resulting size should be added about 15 cm, it is this size that will still be required for mounting the guides. We mark the size on both sides of the opening and put risks, and we connect these points with a flat batten;

Attention: Before applying the line, check that the door is positioned correctly. To do this, you should apply the construction level of the desired length. The line must be completely parallel to the ground. If this is not the case, then the necessary changes should be made.

• after that, the width should be checked. The door should not be in the butt, there should be a gap of at least 5 cm.

Fastening guides

This part is attached to the door of glass a little differently and this should be considered. For example, for the door of wood is enough one guide.

And for glass two, one more is put from below and more rollers will be needed. The glass should be fixed without distortions and be more stable when moving.

Fastening can be done in several ways, but they are united by one detail, the installation is done strictly along the drawn line and the chute should also be removed in relation to the wall. In the path of movement of the canvas, nothing should interfere.

So:

• We make the layout of the installation and fasten the guides. If the plane is made of wood, then there are enough self-tapping screws, but if the base is made of concrete or brick, then you should make a hole using a perforator and then make the connection on the dowel;

Attention: For this work you should not use dowels from the kits. Such a connection will not be reliable. It should be purchased separately plastic and screws to it, but they should take a couple of mm more from the cross section of plastic. Such a connection will be reliable and high quality.

• After securing the guides, the carriages should be assembled. To do this, we fold them and tighten the fastening bolts. Strongly press it is not necessary, we just bait and then install on the guides;
• For a more reliable web attachment, we install the brackets, their number is determined by the number of rollers;
• After that, we take the door and make its installation in the carriage, to start the top rail. We get in grooves and after that we do fastening by means of bolts. Immediately should be done and adjustment with bolts.

Attention: At installation of a door from glass it is necessary to pay special attention to one detail, the clip becomes by means of laying from paranit. Therefore, when buying, check their availability. Immediately pay and take on the density. She is different. If it is too soft, then make a replacement, such a connection will not hold the door.
