Despite the not very large weight of the structure, it can still sag and become depressurized over time, passing cold air into the room through the cracks formed. What tools are required

To adjust, you need to stock up on the following tools and materials:

• Phillips and flat screwdrivers
• Set of G-shaped hex keys from 2.5 to 5 mm
• A set of plastic gaskets

We define the problem

To understand how to adjust it, you need to determine what is the reason for its poor performance.

It can be:

• Sagging under its own weight
• Bad pressure on the seal
• Loose loop fastening

Usually problems are signaled by its displacement and difficulty in closing, as well as the poor performance of the door handle.

How to make the adjustment of the plastic door

Manufacturers can use different accessories for their fastening and adjustment, which one you have - we do not know. But this is not important, because the adjustment takes place on the same principle, regardless of differences in the accessories used.

• To remove the protective decorative cover from the hinges is quite simple. It is necessary to fully open it so that the inner side of the hinges becomes visible, where the screw fixing the cover is located.
• It must be unscrewed using a three-millimeter hexagon, return it to the closed position and remove the decorative cover from the hinge.
• The location of the adjustment screws
• Under it, you will see several short screws, screwed into the body of the loop and one long, located horizontally. Adjustment will begin with it if you need to return the door from the sagging to a strictly horizontal position.
• To raise the sagging angle up, pull up the long horizontal screws in the two upper hinges. If you want to fully move the sash to the right or left, you need to adjust the position of the screws in all three hinges.

• Screws that are directed inwards are designed to adjust the door clamp to the frame. If the sash doesn’t press properly at the top, tighten the screws in the top hinge more tightly, if at the bottom - at the bottom. then loosen up. You will determine this experimentally by closing it and estimating the density of the clamp.
• If you need to slightly lift up, these adjustment screws will not help you. For the vertical movement of the blade meets another screw, which is located in the lower end of the loop. To adjust it, you need a five millimeter hexagon.
• Reciprocal level of the lock is adjustable hex 2, 5 mm or a small flat screwdriver. The tool is inserted into the response plate and rotate the movable element in the desired position.
