These problems can be avoided by abandoning the use of available tools and using a wall chaser for concrete (burs). Using a special tool, you will minimize the level of noise and vibrations, and in addition, the dust from under the cutter will be an order of magnitude less.

First of all, you need to familiarize yourself with such parameters as the maximum and minimum width, and the depth of the groove, the method of adjusting the distance between the disks, the maximum and minimum diameter of the disks used, the number of revolutions.

Varieties of manual furrow

Manual type furrows, in accordance with the shape of the base, are of two types:

• modifications for working on horizontal surfaces;
• tool for processing vertical surfaces.

The method of application of those and other devices is similar, and the difference lies in the configuration of the cutting part and the base. For example, a wall chaser for machining horizontal surfaces is equipped with a special curved handle. At the same time, the handle of the device for working with vertical walls is straight.

From the above, we can draw the following conclusion: if the length of the ditch for the communications tab is small, then there is no point in acquiring a power tool, much less trying to build it from the grinder.

If you still want to save money, you can apply a piece of steel pipe with sharpened walls on one of the cuts. Having installed the end of the pipe with an inclination of 30 degrees to the surface, we apply rhythmic blows with a hammer along the other section and lead the ditch in the right direction.

Important: In the process of work one should not forget to shake out particles of cellular concrete from the pipe.

Features of the manual wall chaser

The technology of using manual chaser is not as complicated as it may seem.

We work as follows:

• we apply the tool with the cutting part to the surface;
• use the left hand to grab the handle that is farther from the cutting part;
• with the right hand, take up the other handle and press;
• gradually draw the device along the line of the future ditch;
• so that the ditch is flat, an approximate line should be drawn on the surface in advance.
