The cost of a bar is 200 by 200 - features of costing

Building

The bar of 200х200 mm is a serious construction material which goes for construction of apartment houses. And it is this size that is stipulated by the state standards, and, therefore, has the necessary certificates and technical calculations for the construction work. Not the last role is played by the cost of a bar of 200x200 mm, since, having carried out simple calculations, it is possible to calculate the cost of a house from a bar of 200x200 mm, well, at least as close as possible to the real one.

Anything more than 10 cm is already a bar.

What are you talking about

Photo glued timber.

It has been noted for a long time that a wide crown of a house is not just a beautiful appearance and reliability of the structure, for a sufficiently long time, but also guaranteed environmental friendliness and warmth in the home. In addition, this product has characteristics that must be considered when conducting technical and financial calculations.

Namely:

  • The beam is quite massive and is used not only for typesetting construction, but also in frame structures in the form of a skeleton of buildings;
  • No matter how you try to solve everything yourself, it will be difficult for you to unload the car with your own hands, one beam weighs up to 200kg. So, whatever one may say, but the brigade is necessary in this case, at least 5-6 people;
  • Although wood is considered a hardy material and calmly withstands temperature drops within 80 degrees Celsius (almost 40 in winter to 40 in summer, naturally with seasonal signs), but using it to build houses in other climatic zones requires additional insulation of these buildings;
  • The cost of a wooden bar 200x200 mm is due to several factors at once: only useful or business wood is used, the price depends on the size of the material, the profiled products at the expense of additional processing “weight” the beam financially. And yet, the cost of glued timber 200x200 mm will be higher due to the additional use of adhesive components and technological features of the process, the use of special impregnations;
  • Despite the presence of special connecting grooves that allow the beams to fit quite tightly to each other, construction technologies provide for laying insulation in the joints, most often it is jute insulation. Since the joints are the weakest from the point of view of heat conservation, the place.
The principles are preserved, although we are interested in 200 to 200.

Interesting to know! The cost of a house from a profiled bar 200x200 mm can be slightly, but reduced, due to the use for a lag of the floors and ceilings of a conventional bar of a smaller diameter, for example 150x150 or 100x100, of course mm.

The benefits are obvious, but what if ...

Such a house in conditions of harsh winters will still have to warm.

Nobody argues that a bar of this section is good and useful, but one should not forget how much a bar is 200x200 and how much is a profiled bar 200x200, the pleasure is not cheap. And what if you need to build a small house, and even in areas where climatic conditions are more severe than the above, is it not easier to switch to a brick with insulation.

This is the tangle of questions that we will unravel in this chapter:

  • Yes, the material is not cheap and is recommended for houses of at least 36-40 square meters, but by and large no one makes them smaller, and for a country house you can use the same beam but with a smaller section, or use a generally rounded material, you will get a hut (almost chicken legs);
  • Taking into account how much a timber costs 200 to 200, is it worth to use it in more northern areas, where temperature drops are more significant, and winters are more severe. Experience and practice show that this is quite an acceptable solution, the only additional condition for the northern regions will be a competent outdoor insulation;
  • Should I replace the 200 bar by 200 and use the brick to build the house, considering the cost of the profiled bar 200x200 mm. Most likely it is not, because a house built of such material has exactly the same thermal conductivity as a house with a brick wall and a cement screed 90 cm wide (see also the article Dry profiled timber: types and uses).
On the warmth and beauty of the tree will be a good competition to any material.

Note! It is noticed that in firms that sell building timber in your area, there is large quantities of material that will be needed only for building houses or other structures you have. Everything else is often under the order, so do not hesitate to ask and they will answer you, you will not overpay anything extra.

The relationship between production and cost

These grooves are also worth the money.

It is easy to get a bar by itself, it is enough to make saw cuts of a log in four planes, and at the exit we get a beam with a square section and of sufficient length (sufficient, it is 6 meters). In addition to this, there are two other technologies that will not only give the product the necessary forms, but also allow to obtain considerable length and enviable strength.

So:

  1. The technology for producing a profiled beam is designed not only for the above cuts, but also for special processing, as a result of which spikes and grooves appear in the product, which make it possible to assemble walls easily and simply. Naturally, such wood processing will increase the cost of a bar 200x200x6000 mm. And chamber drying will certainly raise the issue price even more;
  2. The second technology is to obtain a timber of a given length and parameters of the methods of gluing business wood fragments into a single monolith. This puff not only has an enviable strength, but already in the process of formation it is impregnated with special antiseptic impregnations that protect the material from rotting and pests. The cost of the product will also be raised by special adhesive compositions, which together with the technologies have their specific price component.

And although at the output you will have a relatively expensive product, but it is worth it, since it has the best performance in three rating values:

  • The minimum amount of shrinkage of houses from such material;
  • Maximum strength;
  • Minimal tendency to deformation of wood and cracking.
All costs have long been calculated.

Note! Deformation and cracking of solid material are much more common than we would like. Any crack is a gate for moisture, rot and pests. Further horror situations are understandable and do not need dubbing.

Calculations and cost - inseparable

  • A very important role in the calculation of construction costs is played by the calculations of the material. It is also clear to the child that the excess material is spent money, problems with storage and headache with subsequent use;
  • The non-order of the material is fraught with additional transportation costs and sometimes the purchase of material by the piece, which also clearly raise the financial bar. Therefore, your main task is to calculate the logs for the construction of the house by recalculating them into cubic meters. So how exactly cubic meters can be measured as a commodity. And the calculation is based on the usual school formula for determining the volume:

The unit (in this case, 1 cubic meter) divided by the product of the three parameters of the log - length, width and height.

  • In our case, all the sizes are already available with a cross-section clear 0.2 by 0.2 m, the standard length of the beam is 6 m. Thanks to simple calculations, it turns out that in one cube there are a little more than 4 beams, or to be more precise, 4.167 (this is if rounded).
The higher the price, the easier it is to stack.

Tip! It is clear that the construction of a house of one, two or even 10 cubic meters will be small. However, there is another stumbling block to which I would like to draw your attention. Some selling firms may give you the appearance of a bar 200 to 200, slip 195x195 mm, or 190x190 mm.

If you made calculations and the bar 200x200 is a solution with an adequate margin of safety, and the price of the offered goods is lower than the estimated price, then it is quite possible and agree. Just in this case make a recalculation for cubic capacity, based on the new conditions.

What else affects the price of goods

Externally the same, but different in price, it is possible.

This instruction will allow you to navigate in a situation where two outwardly identical products will differ in price, legally.

So, the price depends on:

  • Type of wood from which the beam is made. Traditionally, coniferous woods are considered the cheapest, it is spruce and pine. All other wood species, although they have their own price corridors, will be more expensive than conifers and are more often made to order;
  • We have already dealt with the types of production, glued in the first place, then solid profiled, well, then ordinary planed timber. The closing bar will be rounded timber or simply a log;
  • State of humidity. Despite the fact that green wood is not suitable for construction, since after drying it can lead, the appearance of such on the market is not excluded. Therefore, dry trust is more instinctive to the concept, although it will be more expensive than wood of natural moisture;
  • From the distance between the manufacturer and the end user, that is, you. Just like in a taxi, the longer the road, the more expensive.

Finally

The correct calculation, the minimum cost and maybe here you will need to watch the video in this article, all the more this information will be useful to you (read also the article Dry planed timber - scope).
