Concrete - features of the material and scope. foundations.
Construction in our time is an expensive pleasure, so developers often use all sorts of technologies that make it cheaper. Among such methods, the most popular is the new material-butobeton. Next, we will look at it in detail and consider in which areas of construction it can be used.

Special features
So, first of all, you need to figure out what this material is. It is not difficult to guess from the name that it contains concrete. As for the word “booth”, it means limestone, a draining stone.
Often, you can hear expressions such as rubble and rubble masonry. Rubble masonry - it is nothing but a masonry of natural stones, which have two approximately parallel sides. Concrete masonry is different in that the stone is laid in the formwork and filled with concrete.

Thus, butobeton is a mixture of concrete with large stones of irregular shape.
Most often as a placeholder are:
- Stones from quarries;
- Coarse gravel;
- Half-brick or brick battle, etc.
Through the use of stones, the price of the material becomes lower, and the strength does not practically suffer from this.

Areas of use
Foundations
Most often this material is used where it is possible to apply an artificial stone, but reinforcement is not provided.
The most common use of the material is the butto-concrete strip foundation of light buildings:
- Sarahev;
- Garages;
- Single-story private houses and pr.
Note! In concrete, it is impossible to perform reinforcement, however, a belt with reinforcement can be made from above. In this case, a protective concrete layer should be made, with a thickness of about 3 cm to the reinforcement.

If the structure does not require a heavy-duty reinforced foundation, the use of this material will save about 50 percent of the cost of the reinforced concrete foundation.
It must be said that there is a popular belief that the execution of the concrete foundation is carried out by filling the trenches with stone and pouring them with liquid cement mortar that penetrates all the cracks. In reality, this is not the case.
There is a clear technology of concrete foundation:
- First of all, trenches are dug to a depth below the ground freezing. Their width depends on the width of the walls.
- Then formwork is installed.
- Booth is cleared of clay and earth before installation.
- The next step is a uniform pouring of concrete in a trench with a layer about 20-25 cm thick.
- Then the stones sink down. The distance between them, as well as between them and the formwork, should be about 4-6 centimeters.
- After the first layer of butobeton grabs, pour fresh solution and compacted by vibration.
- Then the procedure is repeated, and so on until the foundation reaches the desired depth.
Note! Stones can not be thrown into the formwork. Each of them should be located in a certain place allotted to it.

From this it follows that it is absolutely not difficult to carry out the butobetonny foundation by the hands However, due to the fact that the stones are stacked by hand, the process of building the foundation is significantly slowed down. Therefore, to decide whether to apply this technology or not - everyone should himself.
Note! Often, through the foundation are communications, for example, water pipes. Therefore, in its construction this moment should be taken into account. Otherwise, diamond drilling of the holes in the concrete will have to be accomplished.

Fences
Sometimes butobeton is used for the construction of fences and all kinds of fences. This is due not only to the low cost of the material, but also to good durability. (See also the article Aligning the concrete floor: features.)
Instructions for the construction of such a fence is as follows:
- First of all, supporting pillars are erected, which are located between the sections of butobeton. As a rule, they are made concrete using reinforcement.
- Next, formwork is installed and reinforced with struts. Concrete pillars can become end walls of the formwork.
- Further work on the construction of the fence does not differ from the construction of the foundation - concrete is poured, the concrete is laid, etc.
- After the concrete has set, the formwork should be disassembled.
- After waiting for the final solidification of the material, you can perform the lining of the fence. An excellent option would be to use for this purpose natural stone.
Tip! After the erection of the pillars, you may need to adjust them - cutting the top. The most effective way is to cut reinforced concrete with diamond circles using a grinder. To use for these purposes other circles is prohibited!
Here, perhaps, all the main areas of application of this material. True, it must also be said that sidewalks are sometimes made of butobeton, in particular, on the backyard plots. The principle of their construction does not differ from the above technologies.
Conclusion
Botobeton has many advantages, so it is not rarely used in construction. However, like any other materials, it has some drawbacks that must also be taken into account. (See also the article Finishing the facade of the house of aerated concrete: how to do.)
In particular, if you decide to build a large capital building, you will have to give up the concrete foundation, since it will not bear much weight. From the video in this article, you can get some additional information about the concrete.
