Concrete adhesive - species in the modern construction

Many builders still prefer to have on hand universal tools and materials. The most popular in the latitudes of the former USSR are, perhaps, epoxy compounds.

It works with almost any material:

• Tiled.
• Glass.
• A stone.
• Porcelain
• By metal.

The two-component composition of this glue includes:

• Epoxy resin is a basic adhesive.
• A hardener, when combined with which the resin is polymerized and an exceptionally strong compound is formed, popularly called “cold welding”.

The curing time depends on the composition of the adhesive and the temperature of the environment in which the work is performed. As a rule, polymerization occurs within a few hours.

Note! This type of glue is characterized by high resistance to solvents, oils and water, it is environmentally safe - which expands the scope of its application.

Epoxy glue for concrete is produced in the form of viscous fluid mixtures or in the form of putty paste and is applied as follows:

• Repair of concrete, sealing seams, sealing cracks.
• Fixation of anchor reinforcing bars in concrete structures.
• Gluing concrete elements with wood, metal, stone.

Adhesive mixtures for blocks

Today, wall construction from various blocks has become very popular. They are lightweight and very simple in their own hands.

Hence the great demand for specially designed formulations:

• Glue for expanded clay blocks.
• Mortar mixes for gas silicate blocks.
• Glue for foam concrete blocks.

Excellent quality adhesives, in addition to the already mentioned brand "Ceresite" are widely represented in the domestic market. These are various mixes, including brands Polimin, Leader, Polyrem, Monolith.
