It should also be taken into account when selecting the height of the segments. For example, when one of them is higher than the others, it will take on the greatest load, with the result that over time it will overheat. And, on the contrary, if the segment turns out to be much lower, located next to it, the diamonds on it will not “work” during cutting, and as a result it will “fill up”.

  • Does circle wear depend on the freshness of the concrete? This is true because it does not dry, but freezes, increasing its strength.
  • What are the causes of overheating of the circle? When you noticed that the cutting edge began to “shine”, and small “embers” began to fly off from the segments, it means that it has undergone overheating. In this case, the reasons may be such - incompatibility with the material or wear tooling.

In the first case, the hard bond rubs on the concrete, but cannot be opened, and the resource may not be spent at all, and the cost of the tool is quite high;
